BEAVER

The beaver is nocturnal and lives in a colony of four to eight family members. They scent their colonies with their glandular secretions. They feed off vegetation in the summer and trees in the winter months. They are considered to be the second largest rodent in the world and can stay underwater for a total of about 15 minutes.
